The difference is the purpose behind the system. Florea Original is optimized for sensitive reptiles with fully custom enclosure designs, while Nexus was created as a premium display ecosystem for arthropods and tropical flora.
What species can I keep in Nexus?
Nexus is designed for collectible tarantulas, mantises, premium isopods, exotic millipedes, and rare tropical plants. The system is calibrated to maintain the environmental conditions these species need to thrive — while presenting them as living display pieces.
Can I upgrade Nova into Florea or Nexus later?
No. They are completely independent products with different architectures. Florea is a fully custom-built terrarium system with factory-integrated components. Nova is a climate control module for existing setups. If you want a fully automated terrarium, choose Florea from the beginning.
Does it require internet access?
Both systems continue operating locally without internet for sensor monitoring and automation control. WiFi is only required for remote monitoring, alerts, and app updates. If internet access is lost, the system keeps running using the latest saved configuration.
